Head of Sales Development – Financial Services (FX Brokerage)
London – 4 days in Office, 1 at home.
£70-90k basic (depending on experience)
Uncapped commission
OTE £120-140k
Role:
- Managing a team of business developers (BDMs), in direct sales (outbound phone)
- Hiring a team of BDMs and enhancing selection framework
- KPI management of team
- Training and development
- Producing sales collateral (e.g. training scripts, objection handling guides)
- Managing the culture and “high energy” in the BD team
- Setting incentives
- Developing the CRM (salesforce) to ensure easy visibility of core metrics and ancillary systems (e.g. Data, VoIP etc.)
- Oversight of sales pipeline and progression / sustaining momentum
- Reporting to Board of Directors on performance of BD
Experience:
- At least 2/3 years experience in a BD role in Direct Sales
- At least 2/3 years experience in managing BDMs
- Demonstrable track record of success in both
- Work from office 4 days a week (London), 1 day at home
- Evidence in analysing data/metrics and presenting this to stakeholders in consumable manner
- Experience and passion for creating high performing environments
- Strong written communication skills are a must
- Must be very well organised with high levels of attention to detail
